is comprised of the hamlets of Pleasant Valley, Salt Point, and Washington
Hollow. Salt Point is centrally located around the Salt Point Turnpike,
while Pleasant Valley and Washington Hollow are centered on US Route 44,
Pleasant Valley to the east of the Taconic State Parkway, Washington Hollow
to the west. The Pleasant Valley Motel is situated on Route 44, just west
of the Village of Pleasant Valley.
We are a mere 7 miles from
the center of Poughkeepsie, and our country surroundings provide a beautiful
change of pace should business or pleasure bring you to Dutchess County.
